Respect people everywhere

Rules cover public/private messages, profiles, servers, voice, video and streams. No harassment, stalking, threats, hate against protected characteristics, encouragement of violence, doxxing or sharing private information without permission. Competition does not excuse abuse. Respect consent and requests to stop contact.

Child safety: zero tolerance

No child sexual exploitation or abuse material, sexualization of minors, grooming or sexual solicitation, including synthetic material. We restrict access, preserve evidence for lawful reporting, terminate confirmed offending accounts and notify authorities. Brazil: Federal Police/National Notification Screening Center under Decree 12.880 articles 36–39; SaferNet is an additional reporting/help channel, not a substitute for required authority reporting. US: NCMEC CyberTipline. Never download, repost or forward suspected abuse images to prove a report: identify the message/account. Preservation and any required deletion after authority receipt follow the law.

Non-consensual sexual content, intimate-image threats, sexual violence and sexual deepfakes without consent are prohibited everywhere. Legal adult content belongs only in marked 18+ spaces for verified adults, never public avatars/banners or unmarked spaces. A label does not permit illegal or exploitative content. Teens cannot enter adult areas even with guardian approval.

Honest and fair communities

No spam, raids, phishing, malware, scams, account trading, cheat tools or impersonation of people/brands. No real-money gambling, betting operations or paid random rewards. Do not fabricate evidence or coordinate false reports. Good-faith reporting errors are not abuse. Share only content you have rights to use.

Self-harm and support

Do not encourage, teach or glorify self-harm or suicide. Supportive conversation and seeking help are welcome without graphic details or harmful instructions. Immediate danger needs local emergency services; Nuvlek is not an emergency service. Brazil: CVV 188. US: 988. UK: Samaritans 116 123. Japan: TELL and いのちの電話. Check their sites for hours and languages.

Report and appeal

Report a message, profile, avatar or server with its reference and reason. ECA Digital article 29 §2 identified notices require notifier identity and specific content; we do not display the notifier to the reported user. Photos and reports are analyzed automatically by company systems. Normal escalation: warning → 24-hour mute → 3-day suspension → 7-day suspension → ban; severe cases can skip steps. A publisher may appeal once within 14 days; a person may review the appeal. See Moderation for procedure.

Report without an account

Victims, guardians and authorities can use the identified public report form. Provide your name, email and the specific content link/ID; anonymous notices do not meet ECA Digital article 29 §2. The public channel is available under §3. For immediate danger call local emergency services: Brazil 190, US 911, Japan 110.

Reports, analysis and preventive restrictions

A report does not punish anyone by itself. It preserves evidence and goes to priority analysis. A preventive restriction requires confirmation by automated analysis of the actual content, corroboration by several different trustworthy accounts, or a team decision. A public report without an account never restricts anyone by itself, even after email confirmation. Public submission first sends an email confirmation link; only the confirmed notice enters the case queue. Identification, preservation and review are separate from punishment. A suspended or banned account cannot sign in or receive messages while the sanction remains in force; the available standing/appeal procedures remain described in Moderation.

Uploads and file safety

Uploaded videos are analyzed automatically using extracted video frames before other people can view them. A pending or restricted video is not a published video. PDFs and other files have no inline preview; teens can access files they sent themselves or that were sent by friends, not files from strangers. Executables are blocked, including .exe, .msi, .bat, .ps1, .apk and similar formats. Do not rename or package an executable to bypass the block. These controls reduce risk without guaranteeing that every permitted file is harmless.
