Nuvlek is operated by G e Soluções e Eventos LTDA, CNPJ 46.647.904/0001-04, represented by Raphael das Neves Ferreira. Address: Rua Arthur Pelaio, 144 — Vila União — Bandeirantes/PR — CEP 86360-000 — Brasil. Support, safety and privacy: support@tioneves.com (suggested subject: “Safety” or “Privacy”). Data Protection Officer under LGPD article 41: Raphael das Neves Ferreira, contato@entexp.com.br.

Age by region

Minimum account age is 13 worldwide. Brazil ages 13–16 inclusive need a guardian before chat/voice; until linked, only linking, help and settings are available (ECA Digital art. 24). Nuvlek applies these guardian-link age thresholds in the EU/UK: 16: DE, NL, IE, LU, SK, HU, RO, HR, LT, MT, PL; 15: FR, CZ, GR, SI; 14: AT, BG, CY, ES, IT, FI, SE, EE, LV, PT; 13: BE, DK, UK. These are Nuvlek’s product thresholds, applied alongside GDPR article 8 and any stricter local requirement; the UK is listed separately from the EU. Where a local rule requires greater protection, that rule takes priority. In Japan, minimum age is 13 and a minor’s purchases require guardian consent under Civil Code article 5, through Family Center purchase controls.

Teen mode, ages 13–17

DMs are friends-only. Requests are restricted to friends of friends/shared-server members. Sensitive-media filtering stays on, adult areas stay blocked and unfamiliar-contact warnings are shown. Profiles use maximum privacy by default. No ads or profiling. Guardians cannot disable mandatory protections or allow 18+ access. You can block/report even a friend.

Visible supervision, never message content

A teen can link a legal guardian through their own adult account or provide the guardian’s email. The email link opens a web page to approve or decline without creating an account. The guardian chooses purchases and a monthly limit, DMs, camera/screen/Go Live and quiet hours. A guardian account is optional for viewing activity summaries: new friends, conversation partners, servers and voice minutes, never message contents. The teen sees “Guardian supervision active”; supervision is never hidden. Purchases and server entry follow the guardian’s approvals.

Default monthly spending limits apply to everyone: BRL 500 / USD 100 / EUR 100 / JPY 15,000. Anyone can lower their own limit; only the guardian can raise a teen’s limit. Settings shows today’s and this week’s usage; an optional daily limit displays a break reminder. Teen camera, screen and Go Live publishing requires a linked guardian and permission, off by default. Every Go Live has Report stream. Mandatory privacy and 18+ restrictions cannot be disabled.

Verification and corrections

Adults seeking 18+ access and legal guardians complete document/selfie age checks with Stripe Identity. Nuvlek keeps only result, date and birth year from the check, not images. Read the provider notice first. Do not send documents in tickets or DMs. Contact support about an incorrect birthdate, country, guardian link or age result; restrictions remain during review. Guardian approval cannot replace adult verification.

Use Block/Report. For serious risks contact support@tioneves.com with account/message references, never suspected abuse imagery. We preserve/report serious cases to competent authorities; SaferNet offers additional guidance. Do not promise secrecy to a child in danger. If linking is unsafe or disputed, ask safety for help instead of using an unrelated adult’s account. Immediate danger requires local emergency services; support resources are in Safety Center.

Teen live sharing

Teens may publish camera, screen sharing or Go Live only with a linked legal guardian and live permission enabled by that guardian; it is off by default. Go Live offers Report stream.

Verified guardian and teen confirmation

A legal guardian must be an adult verified by Stripe Identity with a document and selfie, whether approving with an account or an email link. Accepting a request alone does not activate supervision: the link stays awaiting verification, with the most restrictive controls, until verification is complete. The teen must also confirm who the guardian is before the link takes effect. A linking code has 12 characters, displayed as XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, valid for 24 hours. Nuvlek keeps only the verification result (yes/no), date and birth year, not the document, selfie or full birthdate from the check. Never send identity documents to support. A return URL or message saying the browser returned from Stripe is not proof of verification.

Reports, analysis and preventive restrictions

A report does not punish anyone by itself. It preserves evidence and goes to priority analysis. A preventive restriction requires confirmation by automated analysis of the actual content, corroboration by several different trustworthy accounts, or a team decision. A public report without an account never restricts anyone by itself, even after email confirmation. Public submission first sends an email confirmation link; only the confirmed notice enters the case queue. Identification, preservation and review are separate from punishment. A suspended or banned account cannot sign in or receive messages while the sanction remains in force; the available standing/appeal procedures remain described in Moderation.

Uploads and file safety

Uploaded videos are analyzed automatically using extracted video frames before other people can view them. A pending or restricted video is not a published video. PDFs and other files have no inline preview; teens can access files they sent themselves or that were sent by friends, not files from strangers. Executables are blocked, including .exe, .msi, .bat, .ps1, .apk and similar formats. Do not rename or package an executable to bypass the block. These controls reduce risk without guaranteeing that every permitted file is harmless.
