Create and manage invitations
How to do it
With Create invite permission, open a channel’s invite action. Set an expiry and a maximum number of uses, then share the generated link only with intended guests. Preview the destination before forwarding a link.
Keep in mind
A public invite can spread beyond your group. Use short-lived, limited-use invitations for private communities. If a link expires or runs out, generate another; do not ask guests for their password. Joining still follows age, guardian and server permissions. Report suspicious lookalike invitation pages.
